How To Deal With Hyperactive Children?
Hello, I want to ask please … I have a 3-year-old child, my child is the person who can not be quiet … even if it’s quiet just when I go to sleep … How about that ??
Hello, good evening Ms. Tuty ...
An active child is the hope of all parents. However, often children are very active, so parents begin to worry about the child's condition. Some conditions that may be related to the complaint you are experiencing (the child is too active and tends not to be quiet) include:
Normal condition. If your child is active and seems to have endless energy, in fact this can be a normal thing and nothing to worry about. But if the activity makes it difficult for your child to control the activities and reactions to events around him, then you need to be suspicious of other conditions that cause it.
Overactive due to psychosocial and environmental factors. Environmental factors that can contribute to distraction to attention, impulsivity, and hyperactivity include stressful home environments or overuse of digital media such as television and gadgets.
Hyperactivity, or in the medical world referred to as ADHD (Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder. Most ADHD is detected at the age of 6-12 years. Symptoms of ADHD include:
difficulty concentrating and attention is easily distracted
difficult to obey instructions
tend not to listen
careless in doing the task
often forget and lose things
often do not complete the given task and instead do other tasks
often interrupts people
Autism Spectrum Disorder (or better known as autism)
Impaired motor coordination
Emotional and behavioral disorders, such as mood disorders, OCD (Obsessive Compulsive Disorder), and so on
We suggest that you consult and check with your child to a psychiatrist to ascertain your child's condition, whether your child's active condition is a normal condition, or if it is caused by another condition. The psychiatrist will observe your child's behavior and ask questions and answers to find out other symptoms that your child may have.
That's all, hopefully it helps .. :)
