How To Deal With Irritation On The Face?
Good day, so this morning after I finished bathing, I routinely use skincare and skincare that I wear now, I have been using it for a year or so but I don’t know why after I used it my face turned red and it felt hot, but I just now experience things like this because all this time I am very suitable to use this skincare, please help, thank you🙏
Hello Erika, thank you for asking.
Facial skin is generally more sensitive than other parts of the body skin. In some people, contact with certain substances can cause allergies or irritation. They may be found in cosmetics, skin care products, lotions, soaps, shampoos, detergents, perfumes, and so on. Sometimes, allergic reactions or irritations can take some time to develop. There are various kinds of allergic reactions, there are reactions that arise quickly, some are slow. Some types of allergies require repeated exposure for years, before a reaction finally appears. That is why, in some cases, for example, an allergic reaction to seafood occurs in adults without a history of previous allergies.
You should consult this problem with a dermatologist. The doctor will assess whether your skin irritation is caused by the content of the skin care product, or the possibility of other irritations, for example due to other ingredients you are taking or the effect of certain drugs. Tell the history of the use of cosmetics, skin care products, medicines, and supplements that you have been using. Tell with a trace and complete, so doctors can easily find the cause.
In the meantime, avoid using the product first. Watch for improvement in symptoms or not. Avoid UV exposure for too long, use a suitable sunscreen. If the skin becomes itchy, avoid scratching it.
Thus my explanation, hopefully useful. Regards.
