Good morning, I have had chicken pox for the past two days. The first day I didn’t realize that I had smallpox and only last night I realized that I had smallpox. This morning my body was affected by smallpox itching and incidentally because I have a history of itching allergy I always have stock of lerzin drugs. So may I take lerzine medicine to reduce my itching because of my chicken pox? Thank you in advance 🙂

Hello Dewi, Thank you for the question.

Chicken pox is a varicella-zoteric virus infection that causes rashes on the skin in the form of water resilience. This resilience will appear throughout the body. Water resilience will dry up and form a scab and slowly improve within 7-10 days. Before the rash appears, sufferers will experience symptoms of fever, headaches, joint and muscle pain, and fatigue. To determine whether someone has chickenpox or not, further tests are needed because other conditions such as impetigo or molluscum contagiosum can also cause similar symptoms.

If you experience symptoms of water resilience accompanied by fever, you should immediately consult with your nearest GP so that your doctor can examine you immediately. If it is caused by chickenpox, then you need to receive the right treatment. Chickenpox that occurs in adults easily causes complications so for treatment, doctors will usually give antiviral drugs. In addition to preventing complications, antiviral drugs can also help speed healing. Lerzin is a drug that contains cetirizine, which is an antihistamine group which is a class of hard drugs that should not be used without a doctor's examination. Handling you can do right now is:

do not scratch the itchy skin using salicyl powder or calamine lotion to help relieve itching do not solve the water flow multiply break multiply consumption of nutritious foods and consumption of water avoid contact / interaction with others especially children, pregnant women, and elderly people make it a habit to close your mouth and nose when coughing and sneezing because this can cause transmission to other people always keep your hands clean. Hopefully this helps.
