How To Deal With Itching?
Good evening, I would like a consultation. Last May 30 I went to doctor Sp.KK because of vaginal candidiasis u0026amp; inflammation of the hair glands in the pubic hair. I was given fluconazole 2 tablets to drink u0026amp; ketomed cream for itching Currently both medicines have run out, but the itching inflammation of the hair glands has not healed, even in the last 2 days I felt so itchy that I could not sleep and do my activities. I haven’t had time to control yet. Do you have any suggestions for reducing the itching? thank you
Hi Intan .. Thank you for the question given.
Itching in a woman's groin area can be caused by a fungal, bacterial, or viral infection. Candidiasis vaginalis is caused due to a fungal infection while inflammation of the hair glands / folliculitis is caused due to a bacterial infection. Both of these diseases, if not handled completely, can cause discomfort to the sufferer. If you have received treatment, it is better if you return to the doctor who treats you. Because the treatment of fungal infections takes time and in some cases requires several treatments to complete.
besides that to reduce the itching you feel, it's good:
Avoid moisture in the feminine area, dry with a clean towel after you go to the bathroom or after showering Use clothes and underwear that absorb sweat and do not wear clothes that are too tight Change clothes and underwear regularly or when they are damp Avoid scratching the itchy area because scratching will only resulting in more severe itching and sores and secondary bacterial infections can occur Avoid using soap or vaginal cleansers too often
