How To Deal With Negative Thoughts In Their Teens?
I often think of trivial and negative things at a young age, my feelings are very anxious and frightened. How do I get rid of those thoughts?
Hello Rafiza, thank you for asking at HealthReplies.com.
Thoughts that you often experience may be a symptom of several possible medical conditions such as:
General anxiety disorder Panic disorder Depression and several other possibilities If these thoughts arise often enough to interfere with your daily activities, it is strongly recommended that you consult further with a psychiatrist to help you get therapy and also further counseling in helping you overcome these thoughts.
In the meantime you can try to:
Get closer and surrender to God. Get closer to your family and friends to help you get moral support. If you feel comfortable, tell all the problems you are facing right now to parents, other family members or even friends you to help ease the burden on your mind. Learn to be better at dealing with existing stress. Do positive activities such as joining a social community, joining organizations in schools, sports and others to help divert your mind. Hopefully help.
