How To Deal With Nosebleeds That Do Not Heal?
I want to ask how come I can get a nosebleed all of a sudden, it has been going on for 4 weeks for every week it must be 1 day I have a nosebleed suddenly ”, and KMrin had a chance to check the specialist doctor said my nose bone was slightly bent in one direction (left). How do I solve this problem?
Good morning, thanks for the question to HealthReplies.com.
Nosebleed complaints that last for a long time, can be caused by several possibilities:
1. High blood pressure (hypertension)
2. Bone growth is not perfect, especially in children
3. Bone shape that is not like people in general (bent to one side)
High blood pressure or hypertension is a disease characterized by high blood pressure, exceeding 120/80 mmHg. High blood pressure has side effects to the blood vessels, which are the blood vessels become tense, stiff, and narrow. Including the blood vessels around the nose will experience changes, which will cause blood vessels to rupture and bleed into nosebleeds.
Imperfect bone growth in children makes the blood vessels around the nasal bones unprotected and easily become nosebleeds.
The last possible cause is the formation of bones that bend to one side or is called a rice septum deviation. Bending of the bone to one side causes the blood vessels to not be completely protected or it can even be easily squeezed by the bent bone, causing blood vessels to burst and bleed.
For further examination and treatment, you can consult directly with the ENT specialist doctor. But if there are signs and dangers such as severe nosebleeds and not stopping, weakness, or unconsciousness, please immediately go to the nearest hospital emergency room to get first aid.
Things you can do to prevent worsening from nosebleeds:
-Eating lots of iron-containing foods to increase the content of red blood cells in the body, because blood that comes out through nosebleeds can cause a decrease in the content of red blood cells in the body
- take care of health, do not get too tired
- Maintain personal hygiene, especially the environment around the nose, do not clean the nose too deep or too hard
Thus, hopefully useful :)
