Thank you for the question.
A painful ear, then hearing loss, to the point of releasing odorous fluid, is most likely caused by otitis media, which is inflammation of the middle ear. As is known, anatomically, the ear is divided into 3 parts, namely the outer ear (from the earlobe to the outer ear canal), the middle (from the eardrum to the hearing bones), and in (the labyrinth and cochlea). Inflammation in the middle ear usually occurs due to the spread of inflammation of the airways that is not handled properly. This can occur due to the Eustachian tube connecting the nose and nasopharynx with the middle ear. Initially, inflammatory fluid due to otitis media will be retained in the middle ear so that it often triggers severe pain. However, if this condition is treated too late, then the eardrum can then tear, and inflammatory fluid will flow out with hearing loss.
In addition to otitis media, your complaints may also be caused by other factors, such as cerumen impact, otitis externa, tinnitus, migraine, head or ear injuries, fungal infections or other microorganisms in the ear, and so on.
If indeed this complaint is very disturbing to you, you should check yourself directly to the doctor or ENT doctor. Some types of drugs, extraction of cerumen, to surgery can be done by the doctor if it is felt necessary, so that your complaints improve. For now, you can take paracetamol so the pain in your ears and dizziness subside. Do not carelessly put anything into the ear, including prying it with a cotton bud or any tool.
Hope this helps ...
