How To Deal With Red, Dry And Peeling Skin On The Face?
Hello wr.wb. I am Indri I am 20 years old, I want to ask this question on my face, exactly underneath the eye bags like there are red sores so keep on drying and sometimes the skin is peeling, then red again if it is hot itchy, why is that so? And how to overcome it? Thank you, I’m waiting for the answer ..
Hello Indri, thank you for the question.
Our skin normally does exfoliate in response to skin changes, but this peeling usually does not cause complaints, such as itching, pain, and redness. Complaints like this are usually experienced by people who are sunburned, skin types that are too dry, skin irritation, allergies, atopic dermatitis or eczema, side effects of drugs, and so forth. On sunburned skin, the skin will usually redden, ache, and feel hot, then peel off and begin to heal on its own. Whereas on skin types that are too dry, the skin will tend to be easier to peel, dry skin is aggravated when the skin is in contact with soap, creams, lotions, and other ingredients that are irritating to the skin. If the complaint is felt disturbing you should consult a doctor about the complaint, the doctor will conduct an examination and determine the appropriate treatment that is tailored to your current condition. It is better to avoid excessive sun exposure, use sunscreen when outside the room, compress the skin with cold water, consume lots of water, routinely use a moisturizer, avoid scratching facial skin peeling, avoid precipitating factors or chemicals that can irritate the skin, and should still remain do a healthy lifestyle.
Thus, hopefully it helps.
