Hi Hanan,

Thank you for the question.

At first glance, your condition might refer to tension headache, which is a type of primary headache whose cause is not yet known. However, some experts do suspect this condition occurs due to excessive contraction of muscles around the face, neck and head, mainly due to being triggered by stress, severe emotions, and fatigue. Eyes that feel tired, due to eye refraction problems and excessive use of gadgets can also trigger this condition.

However, not only tension headaches, your complaint may also occur due to other triggers, such as asthenopia, migraine, cluster headache, hypertension, metabolic disorders, viral or bacterial infections, cerebral aneurysms, brain tumors, bleeding or blockages in the brain, psychological disorders dyspepsia, sinusitis and so on.

Your condition, if it is often recurring, and does not improve with the consumption of ordinary pain relievers, should be consulted directly to a doctor or neurologist so that you can handle it well at home, you can try the following treatments:

Relieve your headaches by taking paracetamol and warm compresses on the side of the painful head
Don't overdo the painful area
Limit the excessive use of gadgets first. If this is not possible, rest your eyes once every 30-60 minutes between your work, ie by closing your eyes while cold compressed, or looking at distant objects for a few moments, just start your work again. Also make sure you set your visibility well with the screen, the brightness of the screen, as well as your body position so that your eyes don't get tired easily.
Get enough sleep, don't stay up
Eat also with discipline, a little but often
Avoid excessive caffeine consumption, stay away from alcohol
Exercise regularly every day
Don't think too much, calm yourself

Hope this helps ...
