How To Deal With Scabs On The Head And Itching On The Body?
I have symptoms of drops, it says it makes my body itch in many parts of my body. Even me who is 53 years old still has a scab on my head that I often scratch. Please advise, what should I do.
Thank you for the question.
Itching and sores on the skin, including the scalp, do not directly indicate symptoms of diabetes. It could also, itching and sores appear due to some of the following reasons:
Skin infections, for example due to fungi, bacteria, parasites, or viruses
Allergic or irritant contact dermatitis
Others, for example atopic dermatitis, insect bites, xerosis, and so on
Immune disorders, including those due to diabetes, can indeed make you more susceptible to skin infections, leading to the above complaints. However, just by observing the itching and sores on your skin, it does not necessarily ensure that you have diabetes. Diabetics generally will also experience a variety of other typical symptoms, such as frequent thirst, frequent hunger, frequent tingling, weakness, fatigue, weight loss dramatically, and so on.
You need to have yourself checked by a doctor or dermatologist so that the cause of your complaint can be identified. Allergy tests, skin tissue biopsies, blood tests, or other supporting tests may also be done by a doctor before giving you the right treatment. If based on the results of the examination found signs of diabetes, the doctor can refer you to a specialist in internal medicine in order to get further treatment.
Initial advice from us:
Do not scratch the itchy skin, or remove scabs from your skin
Take a clean and diligent bath, use a mild soap and suit your skin type, choose soap containing sulfur and salicylic acid to reduce itching and sores.
Do not carelessly exchange toiletries, towels, and clothes with others
Keep yourself away from substances that are prone to cause allergies and irritations
Improve personal hygiene and your environment
Eat nutritious foods, reduce foods that aggravate itching, such as seafood, squid, shrimp, beans, eggs
Expand relaxation and meditation in order to better control the itching
Hope this helps ...
