How To Deal With Sleep Talking?
Doctor, I would love to be delirious every night until I was 19 years old. My brother who slept with me said that every time I talked with words that were sometimes clear, they didn’t. Even though I am not tired, stressed, I just want to know. What causes me to know until I am 19 years old? And what is the impact? How to handle it ? Thank you
Hello Lauraas, thank you for the question.
Sleep consists of NREM (non rapid eye movement) and REM (rapid eye movement) stages. NREM is a stage of shallow sleep, while REM is a stage of deep sleep that allows a person to dream. During one's sleep, alternating stages of NREM and REM occur.
Delirious can be said to be included in sleep disorders. Sleep disorders consist of various types. Delirious can be experienced by anyone, both children and adults. Delirium occurs during the REM stage. It is not yet clear what causes delirium, but it is likely related to excessive nerve cell activity in the brain. Delirious is generally in the form of words and movements. Often associated with physical fatigue or psychological stress.
Generally delirious is not harmful to health. However, in some people delirious may be accompanied by other sleep disorders, such as sleepwalking, sleep apnea, insomnia, and so on. You can consult a psychiatrist or a psychologist for this problem. They will help you adjust your sleep patterns to minimize sleep disturbance.
You can try several ways to reduce the frequency of delirious by:
A night's rest 6-8 hours a night.
Regular exercise 3-5 times a week for 30 minutes.
Improve your diet and avoid smoking, alcohol and caffeine.
Avoid eating high-calorie foods or drinks just before bed.
Choose a good atmosphere for sleeping. Turn off the lights, adjust the bed, make sure the sheets are clean, adjust the temperature properly, use earplugs if necessary.
Avoid staying up late.
Avoid playing mobile before going to sleep.
Use the relaxation method before going to sleep. For example yoga, reading books, or other methods.
Such information from me. May be useful. Regards.
