Hello I am andi, 17 years old I have a question. It’s been 3 days ago I had a continuous fever. In the morning my fever temperature is normal, but if it’s day and night my fever temperature rises again, why should I? Then my friend, the doctor’s parents, said that if I had typhus, I had told my parents that I was typhus but I was not hospitalized. The next day I felt dizzy and had a hot fever, I wonder if my typhus is still there? R nThank you

Thank you Andi Luthfi for his question on the HealthReplies.com forum, fever conditions can be caused by various disease conditions, which include:
- typhus
- malaria
- respiratory tract infections
- sore throat
- dengue fever
- other infections

Typhus is a disease caused by Salmonella thypii bacteria. These bacteria generally attack the digestive tract of the sufferer and are usually transmitted through food that has been contaminated by these bacteria. Where in people infected with these bacteria will experience symptoms in the form of:
- fever which usually increases at night
- headache
- decreased appetite
- may be accompanied by diarrhea or constipation
- the stomach feels uncomfortable

In addition to recognizing the symptoms of typhus through the symptoms it causes, the condition of this typhus still needs to be confirmed again through further tests such as blood tests to confirm the current condition. Therefore, you should be able to check with the doctor concerned first so that an examination can be done to confirm the current condition.

In addition, there are some tips that you can do at home, such as:
- enough rest
- eat hygienic food (preferably own cooking)
- eat regularly
- drink enough water
- Wash your hands before eating and after going to the bathroom

Here is an article about typhus

That is all from me, I hope it can help
