How To Eliminate Past Trauma And Emotions That Are Difficult To Control?
Good morning. I am a mother 3 ank age 35 years, how to eliminate past trauma. Every time there is a problem I always remember my painful past. Sometimes it makes my emotions run out of control which results in actions that are beyond normal limits. Sometimes I want to kill myself, feel alone, useless, despicable and for the past 4 months my weight has shrunk, too much burden on my mind makes me nervous. What are these characteristics of depression and how can I recover. Thank you
Hello Milka, thank you for asking at HealthReplies.com.
Trauma in the past that is quite heavy for a person's psyche, can indeed be one of the risk factors that make it easier for a person to experience mental disorders.
The complaint that you are experiencing right now, can indeed be a symptom of depression, but can also be caused by other conditions such as PTSD, anxiety disorders, or bipolar disorder.
Because your complaint has disrupted your quality of life, it is strongly recommended to consult your complaint further with a psychiatrist to find out whether there are certain psychiatric disorders that you are experiencing, and also how recommended therapies to overcome them.
In the meantime, besides going to a psychiatrist, there are also things you can try to do, such as:
Avoid things that can trigger your complaint as much as possible
Think positively about everything, including your problems and your past trauma. Think of it as triggering yourself to be better in the future, not to make you worse off in the past
Tell your complaints to the people closest to you to help get emotional support
Remember that you are not alone, there are others who still love and need you, so the act of killing yourself is not a good thing and ignores those who love and need you
I hope this helps.
