How To Fatten Your Body After Experiencing TB?
I have experienced pneumonia, tuberculosis, bronchitis, and asthma since kindergarten. I heard that if I have been exposed to tuberculosis I can’t get fat anymore. I really intend to fatten my body because for half a year my weight is only 38, and there is no increase or decrease. At first I thought it was only due to tuberculosis or genetic because my mother said that one of my family when they were not married would be thin. I am worried if anything happens to my body. I am confused how to fatten the body after TB or genetic problems. Please help,.
Hello, thanks for the question.
Tuberculosis is an infectious disease caused by germ Micobacterium tuberculosis, which can attack the lungs, skin, intestines, bones, lymph nodes, and so forth. This disease is transmitted from one person to another by air or droplet. Lung TB can be characterized by a long cough, more than 2 weeks, phlegm, bleeding, night sweats, no appetite, fever is not too high, weight loss, and so forth. Weight loss experienced by TB sufferers is usually drastic, and will come back again along with healing from this disease and coupled with eating healthy and nutritious foods. In addition to tuberculosis, weight loss can be caused by other causes, such as malignancy, lack of intake or nutritional intake, chronic diseases such as diabetes, etc., the use of drugs, currently undergoing chemotherapy, genetics, and so forth. If after TB treatment is done for at least 6 months, but there is no improvement or weight gain, you should consult your doctor or a nutritionist to provide a solution and suggest nutritional intake that is appropriate for your current condition. It is better to eat healthy and nutritious foods, to meet the needs of carbohydrates (such as rice, corn, flour, potatoes, etc.), fat, protein, vitamins and minerals, to meet fluid needs, adequate rest, consumption of drugs and regular control according to doctor's advice, and regular exercise. If after a healthy lifestyle, there is no improvement in body weight you should consult a doctor.
Thus, hopefully it helps.
