How To Get Rid Of Hair On The Legs?
, my 15-year-old son is always anxious lately to me because of the hair on his legs that makes him insecure. Previously my son asked me for advice by cutting his leg hair using scissors on a regular basis. Does it help to inhibit the growth of leg hair?
Hair on the legs is one form of body defense. The growth of leg hair can be influenced by genetic, hormonal, side effects of some drugs, and hypertrichosis (abnormal hair growth on body parts). Men tend to have thicker hair growth than women, although this is not always the case.
But sometimes body hair growth that is too thick can interfere with self-confidence. There are several methods that can be used to remove leg hair (but it is temporary, later leg hair will grow back after some time). Some ways to remove leg hair include:
Pulling out leg hair, it must be ensured that the tools used are clean and sterile so as not to get infected
Shaving leg hair, use a razor sharp and directed in the direction of hair growth
Cut foot hair using clean scissors
Body hair / hair loss cream
Laser and intense pulse light (IPL)
Cutting hair can get rid of leg hair, but only temporarily because the hair will grow back and need to be cut again when it is long enough or annoying. What needs to be ensured is that the scissors used are clean and if possible use special scissors to cut the leg hair.
As for how to eliminate leg hair using drugs, chemicals, or doctor's actions, considering that your child's age is still 15 years, you should consult directly with a dermatologist so that you can be given the safest option for your child to remove his leg hair.
Hope it helps you,
