How To Give Thrombocyt Transfusion?
Does the administration of a thrombocyt transfusion use transfusion sets or regular (unfiltered) infusion sets?

Platelets are one component of the blood that functions for blood clotting. Various conditions can cause platelet counts in the blood to decrease including active bleeding, infection, pregnancy, the effect of chemotherapy, disease / abnormalities on platelets or other clotting factors. Normal platelet levels range from 150,000 to 450,000. Below that value, it is called thrombocytopenia / platelet levels below normal. Thrombocytopenia below 100,000 often requires administration of fluids up to TC transfusion / trombocite concentrate.
TC transfusion requires a special infusion set without having a fast drip filter so that platelets are not trapped and can stop the bleeding as soon as possible. Transfusion sets are not recommended because they generally contain filters which cause some platelets to not enter due to being trapped inside the filter.
Thus the information we can convey, hopefully helps
