How To Increase Height At The Age Of 15 Years?
I want to ask, I am a 15 year old man who has a problem with height. My height is now 162 cm. I often exercise like basketball, futsal and swimming, but I don’t experience any increase.
In the normal process, the process of increasing height is divided into 3 phases, namely the growth phase at the age of the fetus, children and at puberty. At the age of 15 years, it means that you have entered the growth phase at puberty, where the average person experiences growth of around 8-14 cm per year, but this number is not always certain because many factors affect the growth process, such as:
Environmental factors - nutrition intake and physical activity
Genetic factors - there is what is referred to as a child's potential height, that is, the height a child can reach is calculated from the average height of his two masters. For boys the calculation formula is:
Son's potential height = (father's height + mother's height + 13) / 2
The calculation results can be used as a reference to find out how high the possibility can be achieved, but the results do not mean certain, the height of a child can be more or less than that number
Hormone factors - basically the hormones that play the most role are growth hormones, but many other hormones that also play a role in a person's height growth, with the disruption of these hormones, growth disorders can also occur in a person
Height is also assessed whether a person is considered tall, standard, or short using international charts. On the graph, by comparing your height and age, the results fall at a standard level, so it is not advisable to take any heightening medication.
If you feel you want to increase your height, you can consult further directly with your doctor to assess your condition further.
I hope this helps. thanks.
