How To Overcome Color Blindness?
Hello, I want to ask, Is it difficult to distinguish between Brown and green colors, including color blindness or Gmn ?? I find it difficult to change just when I see the color, it’s not too bright.
Hello, thank you for the question to HealthReplies.com
Basically, there are various types of color blindness, some are mild, some are also heavy. The most commonly found color blindness is red-green color blindness caused by a reduction or loss of function of the red conus pigment (protan) or the green conus pigment (deutran). Other types of color blindness are blue-yellow and total color blindness. Seeing your condition, chances are you are experiencing red-green color blindness.
The red-green color blind itself has 4 types:
Protanomalies where there is an abnormality in the red conus pigment, so the red, orange, and yellow colors look greener, and the colors look not too bright
Protanopia in which the red conus pigment does not function at all, so the red color looks black, and colors like orange, yellow, green all look yellow
Deuteranomalies in which there are abnormalities in the green conus pigment, causing yellow and green to appear redder, and difficulty in distinguishing between purple and blue.
Deuteranopia in which the green conus pigment does not function at all so the red color looks brownish yellow and the green color looks like light brown
To be able to know for sure whether or not you have color blindness, you can do an examination with an ishihara card. This examination can be done at a general practitioner or eye doctor.
So much information from me, hopefully enough answer
