Thank you for asking HealthReplies.com.
Need to clarify, what kind of birth control pill do you use? Have you ever consulted a doctor or obstetrician before deciding to take birth control pills? Did the doctor not explain to you the procedure for consumption?
Birth control pills contain a synthetic hormone composition, it can be progesterone hormone alone, it can also be a combination of the hormones estrogen and progesterone. By consuming birth control pills regularly, pregnancy can be prevented through several mechanisms, namely:
Cervical mucus that becomes thicker, making it difficult for sperm cells to enter the uterus
Ovulation (the rupture of the egg from the ovary to the uterus) is obstructed, making it difficult for the egg to meet the sperm cell
Conditioning the uterine wall so that it is not ready for fertilization to be planted
Although relatively easy to obtain in pharmacies and drug stores, birth control pills are not included in the over-the-counter drug category. Therefore, we are not authorized to explain in detail the procedures for its use in free forums like this. In general, you need to take birth control pills regularly every day at the same time regardless of your menstrual schedule.
However, for more details, you should consult directly with your doctor or the nearest obstetrician.
I hope this helps.
