How To Transmit The HIV Virus?
I want to ask, why is HIV transmitted by changing partners even though these people are not infected with HIV? For example, A has unprotected relations with B, C and D. While A, B, C, D are not infected with HIV because they have both tested before. Can this behavior also cause HIV? I still don’t understand where the virus came from
HIV is a virus that attacks the human immune system. HIV is present in body fluids such as blood, vaginal fluid, semen, anal fluid, and breast milk. Transmission of HIV can be through several ways, namely:
Intimate relationships at risk with partners who are infected with HIV, including the risk of HIV transmission in free sex by changing partners. If someone is HIV negative then that person does not transmit HIV to their partners. But it must be absolutely certain that the person and his partner are both HIV negative. It is important to know that the HIV virus can often be detected at least 1 month after the last intimate relationship, and it is even necessary to have a repeat HIV test at months 3 and 6 if necessary to ascertain its HIV status. Is it true that A, B, C, and D have done the HIV test correctly and did not have sex to change partners after the last HIV test?
Open wound and mucous membrane
Blood transfusion contaminated with HIV
Use of non-sterile syringes, including tattoo needles and body piercing
Transmission from mother to baby
Thus, HIV transmission does not always occur because sexual intercourse is risky. If there is someone who has a high risk of being exposed to HIV, the person should consult with a doctor directly or can visit a VCT clinic that is widely available in health facilities so that an HIV test and examination of other sexually transmitted diseases can be carried out and given counseling related to the results of the test. If tested positive for HIV, the person will also get proper treatment by a doctor. HIV treatment is with antiretroviral / ARV drugs to slow the progression of the virus.
Hope it helps you,
