How To Treat Buzzing Ears?
Late night. Please explain, about 2 months ago I had an ear infection so my eardrums leaked and I was treated. For the eardrum itself there are no problems and begin to close completely. What I want to ask, 1 month after my eardrums leaked, I felt my ears buzzing. Is it natural for the eardrum to leak due to infection? And can it recover after the eardrum is completely closed? Please explain and help. Thank you very much.
Hello, thank you for asking at HealthReplies.com
Buzzing ears or what is referred to as tinnitus is not a disease but is a symptom that arises due to other medical problems such as ear infections, ruptured eardrums, or ear wax
In your case, an ear infection can often continue to cause a tear in the eardrum or tympanic rupture which can cause a buzzing or decreased hearing sensation. In some cases the tinnitus can improve after the infection has resolved or after the tympanic membrane has closed completely again, but in some other cases, the tinnitus can persist even though the tear has closed again
To find out the conditions in accordance with what you experience it would be good if you can check yourself to the ENT specialist doctor in order to get monitoring and treatment that is appropriate and best for you
Some tips for you:
Avoid getting water into the ear
No prying ears
Avoid using earphones for too long
So much information from me, hopefully it helps
