How To Treat Heavy And Weak Feet?
Hello. Look doctor, my father both legs heavy and weak. It’s hard to walk. My father had gone to many doctors, the doctor said, my father had high uric acid. But my father did not find the characteristics of gout in his legs. His leg does not hurt, but is heavy, numb and weak. All the medicines given by the doctor have been taken, even high purine foods have not been consumed. But still there has been no change in the doctor. What do you think is my father’s illness? Please answer, thank you.
Hello Aflamita, thank you for asking at HealthReplies.com.
Read the complaints experienced by your father, these complaints can also be caused by other conditions such as:
Stroke Disorders / injuries to the spinal nerves that are responsible for the function of both legs Peripheral neuropathy Because the complaint has been tried for a long time but has not improved, it is better for you to bring your father for further examination to a neurologist. The doctor may recommend that your father do some additional tests such as spinal X-rays, blood tests or other examinations according to consideration, to look for other possible causes that cause complaints.
In the meantime, if there really is a drug that is being consumed on the advice of a doctor, keep consuming the drug and still avoid consuming foods that are high in purines. Also, make sure your father also gets a balanced intake of other nutrients.
Even though it is difficult to walk, keep trying to make light movements on your father's legs to prevent muscle mass from diminishing.
I hope this helps.
