Hello Tanti Laras,
Pulmonary edema is a condition where there is fluid in the pulmonary alveoli. Symptoms of pulmonary edema are shortness of breath (especially when lying down), coughing with blood and foam, getting tired quickly when on the move. Pulmonary edema is usually a complication of other diseases such as heart failure, heart valve disorders, hypertension, acute respiratory distress syndrome, lung injuries, drowning, and lung infections.
The diagnosis of pulmonary edema is based on a history of illness, physical examination, and supporting examinations such as blood laboratories, chest x-rays, ecg, cardiac catheterization or pulmonary arteries. Severe pulmonary edema conditions can be life threatening and require immediate medical attention. The treatment given is usually the administration of oxygen supplementation, diuretic drugs, nitrate class drugs, and other drugs that are tailored to the patient's condition.
Thus the explanation from me, may be useful.
