I want to ask if the x-ray of my molars is tilted if the surgical procedure means removal of the teeth?

1 Answer:

Hi Nabilla,

Impaction of teeth is a term used for teeth that cannot erupt (teething) due to incorrect growth position or due to obstruction of tooth growth. This imperfect tooth growth can cause chewing disorders, pain, inflammation or infection of the gums and the tissues around the gums and thus requires treatment.

Handling of dental impaction is generally carried out by dental extraction (surgery) procedures. Evaluation is required before carrying out this procedure so you should consult with your doctor regarding the steps to handle your complaint. Generally the doctor will recommend an x-ray procedure in advance on the tooth to be operated on.
