Impaired Movements And Mind Control?
Hello doctor, I am Ade, a 19 year old woman I want to ask about some strange things that I experienced. My head often experiences a right-sided motion as if to turn but without my control and suddenly. I also had difficulty distinguishing the numbers 6 and 8 (it took a few seconds for me to be able to distinguish them) and this began around 4-5 years ago. And sometimes my mind feels blank in a few seconds and minutes (like silence and confusion with my surroundings, what I’m doing, why I’m here). Thank you doctor, please help.
Hello Ade, thank you for asking to HealthReplies.com.
Keep in mind that it takes a direct examination by a doctor to diagnose an illness. But based on the above questions, it is likely a tic disorder (disorder in the form of movements / speech out of control).
Tic disorders can be caused by causes that are uncertain (for example gene mutations, hormonal imbalances in the central nervous system, to be associated with predispositions such as ADHD and depression) and there are basic causes such as: brain injury (due to head trauma), stroke, infection and surgery in the central nervous system. Generally, involuntary movements in tic disorder are more frequent when the patient is in a stressed / stressed condition.
It would be better if you immediately consult a neurologist, where the doctor will conduct a question and answer, physical examination, and if there are indications suggesting a supporting examination (eg head CT-scan) to assess the anatomical abnormalities of the brain that underlies the symptoms that you experience.
Thus suggestions and enter us, hopefully useful, good afternoon.
