Thank you for asking HealthReplies.com.
Young babies who do not consume exclusive breast milk are more susceptible to defecation. This condition can occur due to various factors, including due to consumption of incompatible formula milk, allergies, intolerance, to digestive tract infections or poisoning that is triggered by consuming hygienic unprocessed drinks (for example if you dilute formula milk with contaminated water). Not only because of the formula milk you give, it can also defecate your baby more often due to other reasons, for example due to ingestion of harmful microorganisms from toys or objects in the vicinity, inflammation of the intestine, and so on.
If the consistency of your baby's stool is still normal (not thin), and the frequency of bowel movements does not occur more than 5 times a day, often this condition is not dangerous. However, to minimize more serious complications, it never hurts to check your baby's condition directly to the doctor or pediatrician. Show it and the formula you normally give to your baby to be evaluated, is it true that the milk triggered the complaint, or whether there are other reasons.
Some of the following initial handling you can do:
Make sure you only give formula milk to your baby according to doctor's recommendations
Keep toys and other objects around the baby so that it is always clean
Wash your baby's hands diligently
Do not carelessly give medicines to infants without doctor's advice
Try to do relactation (re-breastfeeding a baby) for the health of your baby
Hope this helps ...
