Inflamed Acne After Doing Dermaroller?
Good evening, I have done dermaroller seven times. My skin pimples when doing dermaroller. The results are usually smooth, counting from a month of action because my treatment was carried out in (December 7 and now January 7) precisely a large pile of acne that is festering and inflamed. I took action in a beauty clinic and was done by a doctor. thanks.
Hello Indah, Thank you for the question.
Have you consulted the doctor again? Dermaroller is an action usually performed by a skin specialist or aesthetic doctor to overcome a number of skin problems, namely removing acne scars or scars, overcoming black spots on the face, shrinking skin pores, smoothing the skin, and overcoming fine wrinkles on the skin. This action is usually combined with the use of certain serums to maximize the benefits that can be achieved with a dermaroller. Dermaroller uses a device that has a number of small needles to create "wounds" on facial skin that aim to stimulate the growth of new skin cells.
After this procedure, your skin will turn red, look a little swollen, and feel sore. Not infrequently in some people new acne will occur but it is usually mild and will disappear by itself. The appearance of inflamed and suppurating pimples can be caused by actions that are done less clean / sterile or the skin care you take after this procedure is not quite right, causing infection. My advice, you should consult with your doctor beforehand so that the doctor can do an examination of your skin to determine further treatment. In the meantime, you are not recommended to solve this zit. Please keep your face clean by washing your face regularly with a mild soap, which does not foam and does not contain fragrance. Avoid using cosmetics or oil-based skin care products.
Hopefully this information helps you.
