Inflammation Such As Burns In The Area Around The Eyes?
if the eye is injured because most of the eye ointment is like a burn, how about that?
Good evening, thanks for the question
Periocular dermatitis is inflammation of the skin layer around the eye area. Forms of skin disorders can vary such as reddish nodules or pus-filled nodules accompanied by itching and redness on the surrounding skin.
Some conditions that can trigger periocular dermatitis include:
- Use of topical steroids / topical medications
- Use of oral steroid drugs
- Use of cosmetics or sunscreen
- Germ infections
- Exposure to heat or UV light
- Hormonal supplements
The diagnosis is made through symptoms and examination of existing skin disorders. Temporarily avoid using any type of medication around the eyes including sunscreen and cosmetics.
Make further consultations with your doctor for further examination and treatment.
That's all, hope you can help
