Infusion For Patients Who Are Currently Chemotherapy?
Can the patient who has chemo (tace) not be infused, while the patient is already weak?
Infusion in any patient should only be based on a doctor's recommendation. Doctors and paramedics will examine the patient and conclude in general whether the patient needs fluid therapy.
Teapi intravenous fluids are generally intended for patients who are already dehydrated and unable to drink by themselves to restore their body fluids. Not all sufferers who are limp need an IV. Therefore, a doctor's examination will determine whether a person should be infused or not.
There are no special rules for chemotherapy patients who cannot have intravenous fluids. But this is passed on the results of the examination by the doctor who treated him.
So, hope it helps
