Irregular And Unmarried Menstrual Cycles?
Hello, I am 23 years old and have not been married and have never had sex. I experienced menstruation only 2 days after that a week later bleeding again like menstruation. I only had my first menstruation for 2 days and I was bleeding again, is that normal? Thank you for the help.
Thank you for asking HealthReplies.com.
The normal menstrual cycle is 21 to 35 days apart, with menstrual duration ranging from 2 to 8 days. In fact, your period that only occurs for 2 days is not necessarily a disorder. However, considering that in just 1 week you have experienced menstrual bleeding again, it is clear this should be aware of.
Frequently, the menstrual cycle becomes irregular due to the influence of hormones that are not balanced, for example due to stress, fatigue, weight loss or increased dramatically, side effects of hormonal contraception, or even due to disorders of the thyroid gland and pituitary. It could also, menstruation out more often due to endometriosis, ovarian cysts, uterine polyps, pelvic inflammation, myomas, blood clotting disorders, implantation spots, or many other possibilities.
If it's true that your complaint has only happened once, you really don't need to worry too much. Most of these conditions are normal if they occur only occasionally. Try to improve your lifestyle first, namely by sleeping more regularly, eating more fruits and vegetables, increasing exercise and drinking water, and do not be sad, stressed, or excessive anxiety. With the discipline of living a healthy lifestyle, menstruation often will gradually recover as usual without the need for special handling.
However, if after undergoing a healthy lifestyle your menstrual patterns still have not improved for up to 3 months in a row, you should check yourself directly to the doctor or obstetrician to be given the best treatment, ok?
I hope this helps.
