Irregular Bowel Movements In Infants Aged 2 Months?
Afternoon. the age of my baby walk 2 months. I have only been trying to feed BMT for 1 week but I still still love breast milk. It’s been 2 days my baby has not defecated, stiff stomach, frequent bowel movements and fuss. That’s why huh ?? Thank you
Hello, thanks for the question.
The best food for babies aged two months is exclusive, not added formula milk, water, and others. Breast milk alone is sufficient for nutritional needs for the development and growth of infants up to the age of 6 months and is an appropriate choice for the baby's intestines and digestion. After the age of 6 months, drinks or complementary foods may be given, such as formula milk or porridge. In some children formula milk is sometimes unsuitable or allergic and causes several symptoms, such as diarrhea, difficult bowel movements, flatulence, fussy children, and so forth. Therefore, it is recommended for breastfeeding only until the age of 6 months. If indeed milk cannot be given, it can be replaced with other milk, such as low-lactose milk, soy milk, and so forth. During breastfeeding, make sure the mother consumes healthy and nutritiously balanced foods, increase the consumption of water, and enough rest so that the content and production of milk will be good. If after stopping milk, complaints are still being felt or are getting heavier you should consult a pediatrician.
Thus, hopefully it helps.
