Is Cough, Sore Throat, Fever And Nausea What Is Corona?
Hello dock, I want to ask. Since Thursday I have been coughing, sore throat, fever, nausea (sometimes) shortness of breath and weakness. Why is this dock? (I have never been in contact with people affected by Corona or traveled abroad that have corona effects)
Hello Salsa, Thank you for the question.
Coronavirus disease (COVID-19) is an infection caused by a new type of corona virus that is endemic in the world. A person is suspected of having COVID-19 if they have a history of traveling to a country that has a case of COVID-19 or contact with another person who is suspected / has been positive in the last 2 weeks. If you have never traveled to a country that has a corona case or contact / interaction with a person who is suspected or positively affected by corona in the past 2 weeks, then you are less likely to experience symptoms due to the corona virus.
Fever symptoms that are accompanied by several other symptoms that you mentioned can be caused by flu, sore throat, tonsillitis, bronchitis, or pneumonia. If the symptoms that you experience are still relatively mild, please do your self-care at home such as:
get enough rest for 7-9 hours every day multiply consumption of water at least 2 liters per day multiply the consumption of nutritious food gargling with warm salt water to help relieve sore throat try to consume food in small portions but more often avoid exposure to dust and other air pollution avoid habits smoking use a humidifier to avoid dry air consume paracetamol according to the rules of use listed on the drug's packaging to deal with fever symptoms If symptoms do not improve for more than 2 weeks, or are accompanied by constant high fever (body temperature 38 C or more) , please consult with your nearest GP so that your doctor can examine you. In addition to conducting a brief interview, the doctor also needs to examine you and if necessary other tests such as blood examination or X-ray photos. Further treatment will be determined by the doctor after ascertaining the cause. However, if there are symptoms of severe shortness of breath (breathing becomes fast and short), please immediately visit the emergency room of the nearest hospital so that your condition is treated immediately.
In addition, you are also advised to limit contact / interaction with other people, do not leave the house if it is not needed, wear a mask if you have to leave the house, not to expel phlegm, always cover your mouth when coughing with a tissue and then roll the tissue into the trash or close it with your elbows, and always keep your hands clean.
Hopefully this information helps you.
