Good evening, I’m Irsan 24th. I have been experiencing the flu for the past 2-3 days, coughing, sore throat and dizziness. For now my head is still dizzy / headaches and headaches in the back and the flu accompanying and sore throat when swallowing and coughing has gradually improved. What I want to ask are: 1. Is the dizziness / headache that I feel the effects of the flu? 2. In the left throat I hold it seems like there is a small lump, why?
Hello Muhammad Irsan,
The flu is a viral infection that attacks the respiratory tract. Symptoms experienced by patients suffering from flu are:
Enlarged lymph nodes can also be found in some flu sufferers. The enlarged lymph nodes are palpable as lumps generally as large as marbles or smaller, painless, no skin discoloration, have firm boundaries. These lymph nodes will usually shrink when you have recovered from the flu. However further monitoring needs to be done to evaluate whether there is an increase in size or change in the lymph node.
The flu is easily transmitted through cough droplets or sneezing patients. Most flu can heal by itself (self limiting disease). Treatment steps that can be taken include:
Drink a lot of water
Eat a balanced nutritious diet, consume more fruits and vegetables
Take fever-lowering drugs
If within 3 days, there is no improvement in flu symptoms, you should still see a doctor. Thus the explanation from me, may be useful.
