Fibromyalgia is a series of disorders that cause widespread muscle pain followed by other complaints such as weakness, sleep disturbances, and mood changes. The exact cause is unknown, possibly related to genetics (heredity), past stress or trauma, and infections that may have triggered her fibromyalgia.
