Since I shaved my vaginal hair, after 1/2 day the vagina felt itchy and there were white lumps in it, then since it often came out in the form of patches of liquid to cause the vagina to feel wet continuously which required me to frequently change my underpants, then there is a difference in texture in my vagina, feels like there’s a lump in it, then after almost a week my vaginal discharge is somewhat different from before which is rather green and smelly, including what is this disease? and is it dangerous for my vaginal fertility and should I consult a doctor the nearest obstacle? Thank you
Thank you for your question.
It says that you experienced the complaint after you shaved your pubic hair. Before answering your question, I will first try to explain the function of pubic hair, namely: prevent irritation of the pubic skin and protect the vagina from infection.
If you shave off the pubic hair, then what happens is the vagina will not be protective, so that it will be susceptible to infection. Vaginal infections themselves are caused by several things, namely: bacterial infections, fungal infections, and parasitic infections,
From the type of vaginal discharge that you experience, it refers to one of the infections that is a bacterial infection or also called bacterial vaginosis, which is marked with a greenish or yellowish white color, accompanied by a fishy odor. As for fungal infections or vulvovaginal candidiasis, it is characterized by the whiteness of the cheese and the intense itching, whereas vaginal discharge caused by parasites or also called trichomoniasis, has white, yellowish and foamy characteristics.
If an infection occurs, and does not go away it will certainly cause complications, such as inflammation of the uterus and ovaries, sexually transmitted infections, and if there is a risk of premature pregnancy.
My advice is that you immediately consult a doctor or obstetrician to be given treatment to kill bacteria.
There are some tips that can be done, including: Avoid using feminine soap, because it will change the good bacteria in the vagina, use sanitary pads without fragrance, do not wear underwear that does not absorb sweat.
May be useful. Always Healthy 😊
