Is It Dangerous If There Are Brown Spots On The Whites Of The Eyes?
My eyes felt a lump, after watching the whites of the eyes there were brown spots. Is that dangerous?
Thank you for asking HealthReplies.com.
Brown spots on the eyes really are not always dangerous. More often, brown spots as you experience them are caused by eve nevus (eye moles), CAM (complexion associated melanosis), or PAM (primary associated melanosis) which do not require special treatment because they are still a reasonable variation.
You need to suspect that brown spots on your eyes are dangerous if they appear to grow in size, often become inflamed (causing pain, tenderness, itching, redness, lumps, watering), or interfere with your general eye function (for example, making it difficult to see, open and close eye). If you experience this condition, you can see yourself directly to a doctor or an eye specialist, right? Some disorders that can trigger this condition, for example:
Keratitis, corneal ulcer
Injury to the eyes, and so on
Further examination and treatment is needed to overcome this condition. That way, even dangerous complications can be minimized.
Some suggestions that you should make at this time:
Do not try to gouge or give any treatment to the spots that appear in the eye without advice from a doctor
Protect your eyes from getting dust, pollution, dry air, or other harmful foreign substances
Not directly staring at sunlight (especially in the afternoon after 9 o'clock)
Do not use excessive cosmetics around the eyes
Consume more fruits and vegetables, especially those rich in vitamin A, so that eye health is always maintained
Hope this helps ...
