Thank you for the question on HealthReplies.com,
The IUD (Intra-Uterine Device) can also be referred to as a Contraception in the Uterus / IUD. IUD is a contraceptive method that aims to delay the occurrence of pregnancy. There are various other contraceptive methods that can be used, including using pills, injectable birth control, implant KB. Each contraceptive method has advantages and disadvantages as well as someone's preference in using the KB.
In using the Intra Uterine Device (IUD) there are several benefits that can be obtained, among others, the use of relatively easy, contraceptive devices that last long enough (can last more than 5 years). But there are also side effects from the use of an IUD, among others, smelling vaginal discharge, signs of infection in the pelvic area, pain in the stomach, or bleeding coming out of the genitals. To overcome your condition, it is advisable to consult a gynecologist regarding further examination and management, and to ascertain the condition of your pregnancy.
