Before eating my child urinated normally, but a few days after my child started eating less urine and the color changed and also smelled bad. And today my child has not even urinated from the morning I checked the pempes are still dry from after bathing this morning and evening. I wonder why? thank you
Hello, thank you for asking at HealthReplies.com
BAK normal babies at least 4-6 times a day with an amount of 1-2 cc / kgBB every day. Baby's urine will be clear yellowish. If the BAK baby is less than the frequency and amount and is dark yellow, it indicates that the baby is lacking fluids which can be caused by diarrhea, vomiting, fever, kidney problems and lack of fluid intake. In addition, the baby will also look thirsty, fussy until weak, sunken fontanel, sunken eyes and stomach skin returns slowly when pinched. If BAK is not present at all it can be caused by a blockage in the urethra (structure or stones).
This condition cannot be tolerated. Take the child immediately to the pediatrician so that further tests can be done. The sooner the problem is detected, the faster the treatment can be given and the greater the possibility of recovery. The doctor will conduct necessary investigations, such as ultrasound of the baby's abdomen and the installation of a urinary hose. Urine that comes out through the urine tube will be used for urine examination samples.
Meanwhile, you breastfeed the baby as often as possible. Mothers drink lots of water and eat nutritious foods so that the milk production increases. Mothers should also consume formula milk.
Thus hopefully useful
