Is It Normal To Pee And Vaginal Discharge After Giving Birth?
Good night …. On March 3, 2019 yesterday I gave birth by being stimulated because there were no signs of giving birth while the amniotic fluid had started to thin, after finishing it felt I often peed and also vaginal discharge until now. Is that normal or is there a problem?
Thank you for the question.
Frequent urination and bedwetting after childbirth can occur naturally because of the influence of pregnancy and childbirth which makes the sensitivity of the bladder change. This condition can also indicate a disruption in the nerves or muscles around the pelvis and perineum, urinary tract infections, cystitis, bladder stones, overactive bladder, bladder cancer, diabetes, side effects of drugs, and many other potential triggers.
Leucorrhoea that comes out after giving birth can also occur naturally due to hormonal influences. However, if this leucorrhoea appears very much, smells bad, has abnormal color (yellow, deep white, or greenish), even causes itching and burning around the genitals, then apart from hormones, this condition may indicate an irritation, infection, until malignancy around your reproductive organs.
A physical examination is needed directly by the doctor or obstetrician so that the cause of your complaints can be identified and handled properly. In some cases, doctors can also do a urine test, cervical mucus examination, pap smears, ultrasound, and other supporting tests before giving treatment.
At the moment, what needs to be done is:
Drinking water more diligently
Do not like to resist urinating
Don't overdo drinking caffeinated and carbonated drinks
Do Kegel exercises every day
Maintain cleanliness of sex organs
Don't do risky sex
Maintain ideal body weight
Expand exercise and live a healthy lifestyle
Hope this helps ...
