Is It Okay To Use Baby Soap For Adults Who Are Experiencing Dry Skin?
Hello, these weeks my facial skin feels dry and itchy whether I am allergic to cosmetics or what I also don’t know, for sure I have stopped using the product, and switched to using baby oil, recommended by my brother to use soap baby also to moisturize the face so it doesn’t dry, is it permissible to use baby soap for adults? Or maybe there is another solution to overcome the problem on my dry skin?
Thank you for the question on HealthReplies.com,
Irritation of facial skin can be caused by exposure to certain substances, the use of certain cosmetics / facial products, unhygienic facial conditions, exposure to excessive sunlight, insect bites on the face, sensitive and dry skin conditions so that irritation is easier to occur.
For the first step you can take is to stop the use of these facial products, it is advisable to carry out control to the doctor or dermatologist for an initial examination and management related to the condition of your skin. Treatment can be given such as moisturizer, antibiotic ointment if there is an infection and indications for administration of the drug.
There are several methods that can be used to treat dry skin, including:
Don't take too long a shower. Avoid washing your face too often. Use a soap that contains moisturizer. Use a soft towel to clean and dry the face. Dry the face with a clean and dry towel, pat gently, do not rub or rub. Meet your daily fluid needs. Avoid using and changing self-medication. Hopefully this information can help you,
