Is It True That The X-rays Show That They Are Clean From Tuberculosis?
Hello, I used to be a tuberculosis patient but I was not satisfied with the results of the last sputum test, because the response from the puskesmas was not good for patients and the puskesmas was not given the chance to miss out, the puskesmas only gave sputum test results via the message whatshapp sjh, because I tried to miss out at one of the clinics, the doctor said it was clean, and from the radiologist said it was clean. Is it true that the results of the Rongsen can be relied on? I’m worried I won’t realize if I’m exposed to resistant TB? Because of these results which are unsatisfactory
Hello, thanks for the question.
Tuberculosis is an infectious disease by Mycobacterium tuberculosis, which is transmitted through air or droplets. These bacteria can attack the lungs, skin, lymph nodes, bones, intestines, etc. Symptoms of pulmonary TB that appear usually cough more than 2 weeks, bloody cough, weight loss, fever, night sweats, and others. Treatment of this disease uses a special antibiotic combination to kill these germs, for at least 6 months. 1 month before treatment is finished and after treatment, sputum examination and x-rays are usually repeated to monitor the results of treatment. If the sputum results show that the bacteria is negative and the x-ray is clean then the treatment does not need to be continued. If you are in doubt you should consult the results of the examination with the doctor who examined you, the doctor will match the current clinical situation and the results of the investigation or recommend a re-examination if you are in doubt with the results of the examination. We recommend that you continue to do a healthy lifestyle, eat healthy and nutritious foods, meet your fluid needs, and exercise regularly.
Thus, hopefully useful.
