Hello doc. I am 1 month pregnant. I feel nauseous, dizzy and easily tired. But I was confused because the last 3 days of nausea, the dizziness was gone. There is no bleeding or pain. which I know is nausea and dizzy naturally but if suddenly it disappears I become nervous. Is my pregnancy okay?
1 Answer:
Hello Eri, Thank you for your question.
First of all must be ascertained whether you are indeed pregnant or not with a testpack. Symptoms of nausea, dizziness, and fatigue can indeed be a sign of pregnancy but an uncertain sign of pregnancy. In other words, if you experience these symptoms it is not certain to get pregnant because these symptoms can be caused by other medical conditions such as gastric inflammation, stomach acid disease, or infections in the body. To ensure pregnancy, a testpack is required. If the testpack shows positive results, the results of the testpack must be confirmed by an ultrasound examination by an obstetrician. If an ultrasound examination found a pregnancy sac and a fetus candidate, you can be sure you are pregnant.
Next, if it is confirmed that you are pregnant with an ultrasound examination, then the symptoms of nausea and dizziness that improve does not indicate miscarriage. Miscarriage is the cessation of pregnancy before the age of pregnancy reaches 20 weeks. Miscarriage is characterized by bleeding from the vagina, can be accompanied by a discharge from the vagina, and abdominal cramps. If there are no symptoms then you can't say you miscarried.
If you haven't done a testpack and ultrasound, please do it first to make sure you are indeed pregnant. Please consult with an obstetrician to ensure pregnancy first. It is also recommended that you do the following recommendations if you still experience nausea and dizziness:
consumption of food in small portions but more often
avoid the consumption of spicy food, asm, oily
avoid consuming caffeinated and fizzy drinks
avoid lying down after eating
enough rest
If it is confirmed to be pregnant, please take care of your health by consuming balanced nutritious food, getting enough rest, multiply your consumption of water, manage stress well, avoid taking medication or treat anything without doctor's advice except for folic acid supplements.
I hope this helps.
