Is Rainwater Any Health Benefit?
Afternoon, want to ask if it is true that rain water contains H2O2 (HYDROGEN PEROXIDE) which can be drunk and good for health ??
Hello Leony, thank you for the question to HealthReplies.com
Rainwater does contain hydrogen peroxide in low concentrations. The concentration of hydrogen peroxide in this rainwater depends on where the rain water comes from (for example, whether it comes from the sea, from the city, from the equator or from a region with 4 seasons, whether it comes from rain in the summer or winter, etc.). Although hydrogen peroxide in very small concentrations such as those contained in rain water is most likely not harmful to health, you are not recommended to consume hydrogen peroxide or rain water.
Currently, many ordinary people claim that the consumption of hydrogen peroxide in small amounts can be used to cure various diseases. But this claim is VERY NOT TRUE. You are HIGHLY NOT RECOMMENDED for consuming hydrogen peroxide even though it is "food grade" hydrogen peroxide. "Food grade" hydrogen peroxide is also only used for cleaning food (eg washing vegetables, washing cutting boards, or washing other eating utensils) and functions as a disinfectant. This "food grade" hydrogen peroxide is NOT made to be taken directly. Ingestion of hydrogen peroxide in large quantities especially in high concentrations can be harmful to your health and can even cause death.
So much information from me, hopefully enough answer
