But my father has never had a reflexology before, is it okay to have a reflexology at that age? Will it have a positive or negative impact? My father’s health condition was good and there was no history of serious illness. thank you
Reflexology is one method of massage to relieve aches and fatigue. The method itself focuses on specific points on the body such as foot reflexology, hand reflexology and other body parts. Where is believed that this point can overcome complaints experienced. Some of the benefits of reflection such as providing a relaxing effect, relieve fatigue, overcome some complaints of tense muscles, headaches, make sleep more soundly and others.
Reflexology needs to be considered and avoided if you have blood circulation problems in the legs, are injured or inflammation in the limbs, there are open sores or reflections performed by people who are not trained properly because it can cause harm rather than benefits.
It is also necessary to avoid vulnerable points on the body such as the neck, spine and head during reflexology. Extreme movements that will be done should be avoided. If there has never been a reflection before it is better to communicate with the therapist, especially about the method to be performed and also regulate the energy provided by the therapist so that it is not too strong which can cause pain in the body.
