1 Answer:

Thank you for using the consulting service
We understand the inconvenience of your complaint
GERD (gastroesophageal reflux) is a condition of acid reflux into the esophagus, which triggers pain, heat, burning in the chest or solar plexus. Nausea, vomiting, sour or bitter taste in the throat, discomfort in the stomach area. This disease also has symptoms similar to heart disease, such as left chest pain that radiates to the back or neck, palpitations, and shortness of breath. So that not infrequently the examination of the heart record is done to rule out the possibility of heart problems.
GERD is one of the disorders in the stomach. Excessive gastric acid production accompanied by an abnormally separate valve between the stomach and esophagus is the cause of symptoms in GERD. In addition to GERD, gastric disorders can also be caused by ulcers / gastric ulcers, gastric inflammation / gastritis, duodenal ulcers and dyspeptic syndrome which have similar complaints.

Risk factors for gastric disease can be caused by diet and types of food consumed, such as foods that are too spicy, fatty, coconut milk and too acidic which can irritate the stomach wall and trigger an increase in stomach acid production. Consuming herbs, herbal products and medicines can also trigger inflammation in the stomach, if left unchecked will cause sores / ulcers in the stomach. Gastric ulcer will cause bleeding in the stomach, which causes a sensation of pain in the solar plexus, stomach to chest.
In addition, stress and psychological disorders can also affect stomach acid production. But sometimes, symptoms of gastric disorders can also appear suddenly even though the trigger factors are not known with certainty.

Chronic gastric disease requires continuous therapy and changes in lifestyle and good diet. Management of gastric disorders is based on the findings of the underlying cause. If gastric disorders are known to be caused by a stomach ulcer resulting in bleeding in the stomach, then surgery to stop the bleeding and close the wound should be done. However, if disturbances in the stomach are caused by a disruption in the production of stomach acid, then treatment is focused on controlling the production of gastric fluid. Infection by Helicobacter pilory type bacteria can also trigger inflammation of the stomach wall which can make the disease become chronic / chronic.

Apart from maintaining diet and types of food consumed, food hygiene also needs to be considered. Avoid foods that can trigger irritation and increase stomach acid such as foods that are too spicy, sour, salty, coconut milk, coffee, tea, chocolate. Expand vegetables and fruits that are washed clean and processed in a healthy manner. Eat in adequate portions 5-6 times a day, not in large portions 2-3 times a day. Avoid stress, fatigue and other psychological disorders that can trigger an increase in stomach acid. Avoid lying down after consuming food because it will make it easier for stomach acid to return / rise (reflux) to the esophagus.

Disturbance of the stomach requires proper treatment. If not, the risk of complications becomes a chronic disease, bleeding due to peptic ulcers which leads to anemia and stomach cancer can occur in the long term.
We recommend that you conduct an examination directly to the nearest doctor or specialist in internal medicine to get the right information and examination that suits your condition. The doctor will assess your physical condition, and suggest other investigations such as endoscopy, bacterial examination, abdominal X-ray, ultrasound to CT scan to assess the cause of the disease being experienced.
Thus the information we can convey, hopefully helps
