Is There A Relationship Between Frequent Exposure To Vehicle Fumes And Stomach Acid?

Good Evening, I am Laela 25 years old. Still on the same complaint that is Stomach. I have checked with the doctor and according to the doctor I have stomach pain, cm I don’t know for sure. Every day I go to work with a distance of 10 km back and forth by motorbike. My question is whether the car exhaust that I breathe every day has an effect on my stomach pain? Besides that, I also almost burp every day.
1 Answer:
Hi Laelatul Hidayah. In general, our respiratory tract is from the nose into the pharynx (back wall of the nose, mouth) and into the trachea (airway tube) and its branches and into the lungs. The fumes you inhale when you breathe through your nose will have more of an effect on your lungs than your stomach because it's not uncommon for someone to breathe through your mouth except for certain times like the flu. The effects of pollution on the lungs themselves can increase the incidence of bronchitis, respiratory infections, lung cancer and effects on other organs increase the incidence of heart problems and strokes.
Gastric problems themselves are generally called heartburn where this is a broad spectrum of gastric problems which include heartburn, nausea and vomiting, heartburn, frequent belching where acid reflux disease, gastritis, peptic ulcers are a more detailed type. Risk factors that increase this condition are stress, diet, long-term consumption of certain drugs such as NSAIDs, one of which is meloxicam.
Consult your doctor about your condition for treatment and further information. What you can do is
1. Manage your stress and anxiety because this is very important in helping relieve gastric disease
2. keep a regular diet and increase the consumption of water
3. Avoid smoking and alcohol
4. Limit foods that are too spicy, oily or sour
5. give a gap of about 3 hours before going to bed after a big meal
Hopefully helpful, and thank you. Regards, Dr Alyssa
