It Hurts And Wounds At The Tip Of The Eyelid?
right now I’m complaining about the inner corner of my right eye that hurts like a foreign object or my eyelashes have fallen into my eyes, but when I check it in front of the glass, there’s no swelling or redness like irritation / infection, it’s already around The last 1 month I’ve experienced. Previously, 8 months ago I underwent eye lasik procedure with minus 5.5 eyes and cylinder 2.5 for right eye. After lasik my right eye, my vision was not normal, namely 6/15 because of the amblyopia and the tendency of my tears to be fairly dry. What should I do? Thank you
Hello Marhaen, thank you for your question.
Reading your complaint, the complaint can be caused by various causes such as:
Eyelashes that grow inward (trichriasis) Eyelids are folded inward so that the eyelashes pierce in (entropion) Foreign body on the protective membrane of the eye or on the inner eyelid Side effects of lasik action Dry eye syndrome (dry eyes) etc. To find out the cause of your complaint, the complaint should be examined by an ophthalmologist for further examination and treatment. You may undergo several eye examinations to help determine the cause, then, the treatment that will be done can be in the form of medical treatment or eye drops, it depends on the cause that was found to cause complaints.
For the time being, to help reduce complaints and help make the eyes less dry and feel more comfortable, artificial tear drops can be used. Also avoid rubbing the eyes when the eyes feel uncomfortable, just blink the eyes a few times to help reduce the feeling of comfort. Also avoid excessive use of eyes such as watching or staring at a computer screen for too long without taking breaks between them.
I hope this helps.
