Itchy

Doc I want to ask, the base of the testicles – the parts near my anus continue to itch, even though I regularly change my underwear. Guess “because of what the doc causes?

Hello Dafid,
Thank you for the question.
Itching that is felt around the base of the testicles near the anus most often occurs due to fungal infections (tinea cruris). It can also be itchy as you experience arising from other triggers, such as being bitten by insects, scabies, prickly heat, seborrheic dermatitis, allergic or irritant contact dermatitis, genital lice, cutaneous candidiasis, folliculitis, impetigo, neurodermatitis, psoriasis, allergies, psychological disorders, allergic or irritant contact dermatitis, genital lice, cutaneous candidiasis, folliculitis, impetigo, neurodermatitis, psoriasis, allergies, psychological disorders, etc.
Itching is often not dangerous. Although indeed, this complaint can be very disturbing in activities.
Since COVID-19 is currently outbreaking, we suggest that you do not rush to see a doctor, considering that your complaint is not an emergency. You avoid the risk of contracting COVID-19, it will be safer if you first handle your complaint with independent efforts such as:
Does not scratch the pubic, though itchy
Clean the genitals using clean water every bath, finished urinating, and finished having sex
Change your underwear and pants often
Avoid the habit of using tight pants and rough materials
Shorten your pubic hair regularly
Do not carelessly use soap, sexual lubricants, spermicides, and other chemicals around the genitals
Don't stress or worry too much
If with the above efforts the complaint does not improve, if your complaint appears accompanied by swelling around the genitals, skin peeling, festering rashes, or other severe complaints, do not hesitate to consult a doctor or dermatologist.
I hope this helps.
