Itchy, Bumpy Stripes On The Skin That Has Been Chronic Not Healed?
Good morning ! I have almost 3 years with bumps and stripes, and it feels itchy and hot in the area …. check with all the dermatologists has been done and given medicine … but there are no signs of recovery in my illness. please if there is a solution to my illness?
Thank you for the question.
Bumpy skin like lines, accompanied by itching and heat, most often indicates an allergic reaction. Some other conditions, such as stress, use of tight clothing or heat, skin infections or other organ systems, insect bites, hormonal disorders, side effects of drugs, xerosis, atopic dermatitis, etc. may also cause complaints like you are experiencing at this time.
In most cases, striped bumps, itching, and heat on the skin are not dangerous conditions. However, if the itching is then scratched excessively, then there can be sores on the skin that can become an entry point for harmful microorganisms that cause infection. Not only that, the scars and itchy scars can later appear black and are more difficult to remove. Itching that is quite great can be very disruptive to your activities later. And, if your complaint occurs related to an infection, it is not impossible that this infection can later be transmitted to other people around you.
Therefore, you should go to see your doctor again or see a dermatologist. Allergy tests, blood tests, to biopsy of skin tissue can later be done by doctors if it is felt necessary. The initial solution we can recommend to you right now:
Recognize what factors often make your complaint appear or worsen, record it, then avoid it as much as possible
Do not scratch or rub excessively itchy skin
Sprinkle with salicyl powder or rub calamine lotion so that itching decreases
Take a clean bath, then use clothes that are soft and loose
Apply a moisturizer on your skin so it doesn't dry out
Keep yourself clean and the environment in which you live is also active
Not too anxious, stressed, or overly sad
Drink more water
Don't over-eat foods that can trigger itching, such as seafood, beans, or eggs
Do not carelessly drink or apply any medicine on the skin without consulting a doctor first
Hope this helps ...
