Itchy, Circular Skin Rashes In Cold Weather?
, I am a 26 year old man. Since 5 years ago all parts of my hands and thighs have round nodded patches (there are rounded blends) which are a little dark and scaly if the temperature is normal but not itchy, turn dry and scaly white (sometimes itchy) when dry and cold air like in an AC room and will turn red, arise and itch if it is in a hot and humid temperature, especially when covered with a jacket. What condition am I experiencing and ask for help on how to get rid of it, because I’m not when wearing my favorite short-sleeved suit
Good afternoon, thanks for the question
Complaints of itchy and circular skin rashes may be caused by fungal infections on the skin. Skin disorders due to fungal infections have the characteristics of redness, bordered firmly with the edges that are more active and reddish than the middle (the middle part heals first), scaly, and have a circular shape. Complaints of itching will be more severe if in humid or sweaty conditions.
Fungal infections on the skin are classified based on their location, where if they are in the genital area and groin, around the anus, buttocks, and lower abdomen are called tinea cruris. Meanwhile, if there are areas of the body and arms called tinea corporis.
To confirm the diagnosis, consult with your doctor for a direct assessment of the skin disorders that you are experiencing. If it is caused by a fungal infection, anti-fungal treatment is given in oral or topical form.
To prevent complaints from gaining weight, you should do the following:
1. prevent moisture in a closed area by routinely changing pants,
2. dry the skin when sweating, don't use multi-layered pants
3. keep the body clean
4. Use clothes that absorb sweat.
That's all, hope you can help
